Dressing yourself to get ready for an event or for a photo shoot starts inside out.
As a wardrobe/editorial stylist selecting and paying attention to the undergarments is a must. Those items are like the foundation of the house, they will give you an extra confidence on yourself. From getting out of the car, seating in a chair that you will be attending the event, it will shave you some extra pounds on that photo shoot and it will give you your waste back, in case you have lost it somewhere during some stress times eating large meals.

I was attending a runway show couple years ago and everyone on that event knew I was a stylist. The Emcee was being dressed by another stylist and she had to change couple outfits.The stylist that was dressing her did not asked her to bring an undergarment.I had dressed the emcee before for couple of photo shoots and she remembered that I had always asked her to bring her Spanx. She had started to become uncomfortable with that situation specially because with the last outfit she would need to walk on the runway with one of the designer’s participant on the show and the garment was very short. She started to cry and not wanted to walk with that garment and it was a very sad situation. The designer being humble and smart knew that I was attending the event and she mentioned my name to the emcee, they asked me to go backstage, shared the situation with me and asked my opinion.
